PSL with Outbounds

Emmet was trying to get used to this- the past (and supposedly the time he came from.) And nothing felt right. He didn't know what he was doing, the oven wouldn't listen to the simplest of commands (turn off in 20 minutes), the microwave had few fail safes, everything had 2000 buttons and not even the clock would set itself.

It was all a hassle!

The Sneasels were playing on the cat-tree in the room Emmet had so gracefully lent him, the Hisuian Female knocking the Johtotian male off a perch to claim as her own. Crobat was hanging in the closet happily dozing, and Porygon- he thinks, might have found a part of the infomation network that was for Perverts because for the past 15 minutes it had been talking about 'Hot MILFs wanting Doubles in YOUR area'.

He sighed, this was not the first nor the last time he would have to depend on the kindness of others, huh?

[He announced as he took some, the Lady moving to curl up on his lap as he sat down. For he is made of warm and thus this is her spot. Emmet is trying to get out of his own head, after all, if the Quasar team was lying about who and what they were, what else is to say everything else wasn't a lie? How the other Regions were, how messed up everything was?]

[ there's probably a curious little one that skittered off off of the seat as they approached, only to hop back closer to investigate the two emmets once they're settled. two of the man in white? the man who smiles? and not the man who frowns! more treats?

(meanwhile, there's a couple more dozing in a corner that emmet gently relocates to somewhere safer, namely: a pocket of his coat. one without the aforementioned joltik snacks in it.) ]

[Emmet introduces his hand to the Joltik as one normally would a Pokemon who doesn't know him, the girl (Tiffany) glares a little but is willing to accept the other Pokémon near her person if it makes him feel better.]

[Emmet is chewing on everything he found out.]

How long would it take to find out if the Quasar team is in this timeline?

Unfortunately. That I don't really know. [ a sigh. the joltik baguemmet is befriending hops onto the hand offered it, chittering excitedly. ] It will depend on a number of things. If they have been active, for example. How well they are covering their traces if so. The speed of the investigative processes. Whether people believe it is true or not and actually try to look.

[ emmet lets himself flop into a seat, taking care not to jostle the joltiks riding along. ]

The best I can do. I am Reshiram. I do not lie. If I explain to Xerneas, they will take me seriously. But after that, it will mostly be in Kalosian hands. I am not exactly law enforcement, for one thing. Subway Boss Emmet is not exactly an authority in Kalos. Reshiram may be taken more seriously...

But if Reshiram shows up all of a sudden in another region and causes a commotion— [ even if it's to chase down would-be world ruiners, ] —that would be crossing the yellow line. We usually keep to our own regions for a reason.

[Emmet nods at this, as he gently scratches the Joltik.]

Makes sense. I really do hope they aren't here. I just got to figure out what to do if I go back to Kalos.

[ does the other Emmet not want to go back? well. that would make sense, if he is not supposed to be from there at all...

(the joltik is chirring happily, bunting into the hand doing the scratching.) ]

I had been assuming. But maybe I should ask instead. If I can find someone to help you depart from this station ... What destination do you wish to reach?

I don't know, I don't know where I am supposed to go now.

Well. You have time to think about it. There is no rush. We will host you for as long as is needed. But if I were you I would think about it. Maybe not right now but at some point.

[ not right now, because this is supposed to be joltik time. but also. ]

Because I am Emmet, and I cannot make that decision for you even if you are also Emmet.
